This Privacy Policy explains how Perchance AI ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our AI creative studio. Perchance AI offers AI image generation, a prompt gallery, AI chat, and photo editing tools — including AI-powered edits, on-device crop, and on-device enhancement.

By downloading or using Perchance AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

📋 Information We Collect

Perchance AI is designed to work with minimal data collection. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal identifying information to use any feature.

• Content you provide: Text prompts for image generation, messages in AI Chat, images you select from your photo library for editing, and edit instructions you enter for AI-powered photo edits.
• Device information: Basic technical data such as device type, operating system version, and app version may be processed as part of normal network requests and to help keep the App stable.
• Usage data: We do not operate a separate analytics service. Any anonymous, aggregated technical data is limited to what is needed to maintain and improve the App.

⚡ How Your Content Is Processed

To deliver AI-powered features, content you submit is securely transmitted to Cloudflare Workers AI, which powers our core AI capabilities:

• Image Generation: Your text prompts are processed by the Flux 2 Klein 4B model to generate images.
• AI Chat: Your messages are processed by Meta Llama 3.1 8B Instruct to generate responses.
• AI Photo Edit: Images you choose and your edit prompts are sent for AI-powered transformation using Stable Diffusion v1.5 (img2img).
• Crop & Enhance: These tools run entirely on your device using Apple's image processing frameworks. No photo is sent to external servers for crop or enhance.

📱 On-Device Storage

Perchance AI stores most content locally on your device during your session or only while you keep it in the App:

• Generated images and edited photos are held in the App until you save them to your photo library or close the session.
• AI Chat messages are kept in the App during your current session and are not synced to our servers.
• When you tap save, images are written to your device's photo library with your permission.
• All locally stored App data is permanently removed when you uninstall the App.

🖼 Photo Library

The Edit feature requests access to your photo library so you can choose images to edit, crop, enhance, or save results. The App does not access your photos without your explicit action (for example, when you tap to choose or save an image).

You can revoke photo library access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

🔗 Third-Party Services

Perchance AI relies on the following third-party providers:

• Cloudflare Workers AI — AI image generation (Flux 2 Klein 4B), AI chat (Llama 3.1 8B Instruct), and AI photo editing (Stable Diffusion v1.5 img2img)
• Apple frameworks — on-device crop, enhance, and photo library integration

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services and are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control their practices.

🗄 Data Retention

• Content sent for AI processing is retained only as long as needed to return your result and is not stored by us afterward for identification purposes.
• Images and chat content in the App remain on your device until you close the App, clear them, or uninstall the App.
• Images you save to your photo library remain under your control in the Photos app.

👶 Children's Privacy

Perchance AI is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

⚙️ Your Choices & Rights

• Stop using AI features at any time — no account is required.
• Delete generated or edited images by closing your session or uninstalling the App.
• Revoke photo library permissions in your device Settings at any time.
• Remove all locally stored App data by uninstalling the App.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have additional rights including the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. Please contact us to exercise these rights.

🔒 Security

We use reasonable technical measures, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections, to protect data in transit. Content is not stored on our own servers for account or profile purposes. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

🔄 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
